  ANTONIO PACHECO MASSÓ  (1964-)

He was born at Palma Soriano, Santiago de Cuba Province. Proudly wearing the Cuban uniform at three Olympic Games, seven world championships, four Panamerican Games and the same quantity of Central American and Caribbean Games, plus seven Intercontinental Cups, he also played at 22 national games where he is leader in hits with 2 356 and in double with 366. He is in fifth position in scored runs, fourth in times to hit, third in offensive average with 344. He played in 1 853 games, performing at 14 197.2 innings and 8 897 pitches, including 1 140 double plays, he only made two mistakes to achieve an excellent defensive average of 977, participating in addition in 25 first level international competitions.
