In 1928, he wrote his first short stories for children. He became one of the most important poets of the notorious Grupo Orígenes. In all his texts, the language employed is lyrical and his whole life has been characterized by poetry. He traveled to numerous countries where he was decorated and where he also delivered magisterial lectures about literary topics.
