Famous writer and plastic artist brought to Cuba from his natal Mexico since his childhood. He performed several jobs, some of them related to plastic arts: as a painter and ceramics engraver, and mosaic restorer at the National Museum. He collaborated with newspapers and magazines, in Cuba and abroad, and worked as painting professor at the National Art School in Havana. He served as diplomat.
