Renowned movie star born in Bejucal, Havana province, he leaves Cuba in 1961. He has taken part in numerous films, the first one being “A Night in Heaven” (1983), but his first great success actually was “The Godfather III”. He was the precursor of the Latino presence in Hollywood. A fervent admirer of Cuban music, he has even made some attempts as a singer, without public performances though. This winner of two Oscar prizes has never returned to the land he left one day.
